Diet plans, you are what you eat

Couple months ago I started my skin care and have seen good results and improvements, the plans is to keep doing it.

But, now it is time to take care of my weight, I am about 168 (5’6) tall and 73.5kg (161.7 lbs.), so not fat or anything, but certainly on a verge of stepping out of having normal weight, I have been having this same weight for long time, probably good 3 years now, but prior to this I always been slim guy, so I always felt like I am having a bit of way too much weight. I have been doing some research for while into dieting (yep I know I am geek lol) and mostly used book “The Rapid Fat Loss Handbook” by Lyle McDonald as my reference and main information tool. From all the research I gathered the guy seems to know what he is talking about and has a scientific approach to dieting.

So I finally decided to shred those couple kg I have and decided to go on protein diet for up to one month or until I lose 8kg whichever comes first.

I went to GNC today and checked to buy a vitamin supplements and to see if they have anything for weight loss to help me in my diet, the seller was really cool young guy and showed me around and explained few things about kind of products they have. Basically they have two types of products for weight loss for my specific situation, one is a package called “total lean weight loss system” and another one is just something to boost metabolism and make you heart pump stronger (and in conjunction of workout) will make you lose weight (the guy said it is actually best product for weight loss they have).  After thinking for a while I decided to go with the first and more relaxing package, given that the diet I am planning to take already extreme.

The package consists from 60 packs of 4 tablets that needed to be taken twice a day (basically for 30 days’ worth of diet). It has vitamin supplement tablet, green tea extract tablet (metabolism boosting), chitosan (eat less feel less hungry) and finally CLA capsule (another metabolism booster and stops fat cells from growing).

But pills are only to help and I don’t count on them too much beside the vitamin supplements (those one are really needed), the diet itself should do all the needed work on it’s own.

Now about my diet, it is an extreme one, I am a person who likes to get results fast, so I decided to go on protein diet and eat daily only 800 calories, that’s eat. Basically it will translate into one meal in the dinner time in the evening with some vegetables (salads, asparagus, etc…) and that’s it, and if I see after couple of days I need more than this one meal I will add some orange or grape fruit or some another acidy fruit for my launch.

I am going to take 3 tablets in the morning and will take chitosan in the area of 11:30AM to battle my launch hunger, than in the evening between 4-5PM I will take another portion of 3 tablets, and chitosan around 10:30PM to help with my eating before sleeping habit.

During the day I will have 1-2 coffee without sugar and a lot of water.

Over all should be ok, with my calculation I am now consuming around 2000 calories with my sitting on ass job and no active life, if I cut it to 800 calories than in a span of 2 weeks I will be cutting 16800 calories and in a month it will make it 33600 calories, staggering numbers.

I might also make a relaxing day one day a week, and have a day when I can eat something like sushi.

But the overall plan is to cut weight rapidly and very fast.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed my boring post lol, and to conclude I hope it works for me.

Once I am done with the diet I plan to stick mostly to vegetarian diet (which I already do) but cut on all my consumption of processed meals.

I will report on results later.
